The major areas dominated by aluminium and aluminium alloy conductors are non-insulated overhead power transmission, insulated overhead power transmission and non-overhead power distribution.

5. Corrosion resistanceMost industrial, marine and chemical atmosphere cause corrosion. In addition, the corrosion resistance of all alloys can be further improved by anodizing.

6. Compatibility with insulationDoes not adhere to or combine with usual insulating materials. No tin coating required, clean stripping.
